Overview

LunaRights is a student-led venture developing the infrastructure layer for lunar mission planning, compliance, and governance—functioning as the “ArcGIS for the Moon.” As activity on the lunar surface accelerates, missions face a fragmented landscape of legal ambiguity, site coordination challenges, and limited geospatial integration tools.

Luna Rights is building a unified platform that integrates high-resolution lunar mapping, mission planning tools, and regulatory compliance frameworks into a single operational environment. The platform enables governments, commercial operators, and researchers to plan missions, assess site constraints, manage resource zones, and ensure alignment with emerging international space law and best practices.

By combining geospatial intelligence, policy frameworks, and mission design tools, Luna Rights provides the foundational system needed to coordinate activity on the Moon—supporting safe, compliant, and scalable lunar operations as humanity establishes a sustained presence beyond Earth. https://lunarights.space/
