Mobile electroencephalography(EEG) carts are essential to the proper functioning of any hospital’s neurology department. In the course of a sleep study, Children’s Hospitals lose efficiency dealing with cart issues and money repairing broken carts. Additionally, classic EEG carts possess a large footprint, with dangling and disorganized cord organization structures that make the process of navigating an already crowded hospital setting more di cult. Furthermore, classic EEG carts appearance and aesthetic hinder patient comfort, security, and perception of care.

This cart was developed in partnership with Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Currently and is spinning out as a student led venture called Cortex Mobility Systems.
